Mook Lamai Resort and Spa

We stayed here two nights. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and kettle. We were in a room that had the pool in front which was so lovely in the heat. The pool was very clean and great. We were pick up and dropped off at the pier which was very convenient. Lots of stores nearby. The tour we booked (private boat) to snorkel and go to the Emerald Cave was excellent. Emerald cave was so worth doing! The breakfast included was good and the dinners as well, great pizza from across the street! We enjoyed Koh Mook. The only thing was the stray dogs and the condition of some of them. As a dog lover this was hard to see. I truly hope that an organization or government can step in to help them. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff , pool and room . We had pool access room 111 the end one closest to the reception. Enjoyed the comp ride to town and Charlie beach - fun way to travel. This is available until 6pm and you pay 50bht pp to get tuk tuk return. Arranged our private transfer back to Krabi airport which was very smooth £86 for 2 . Exp in THB but well worth it Property is well looked after and grounds lovely Would have enjoyed more Thai options for breakfast apart from soup . We had rice in all other properties we stayed at Shop opp that sells water beer etc and ice by the kilo Enjoyed pizza at their restaurant Def return , we were there for 4nights and really liked Koh Mook compared to Koh Ngai

From the second we arrived here we were made to feel welcome. Tit and his staff are so friendly and cheerful. We were allowed to check in early, the room was very clean and the fact that it was a swim up room just made it even better. Good air con, delicious welcome drink and plenty of very tidy greenery surrounding the hotel. The breakfasts are delicious (choices are endless!) they allow you to order anything off the menu and cook it fresh until you’ve had enough. Good coffee, excellent omelette and a great location. Tit has good knowledge on the island and how to get around. He grew up here so he knows exactly where to visit and when for the best experience. It’s also incredibly peaceful. Very clean pool and grounds and a lovely atmosphere. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Thailand and this has been my absolute favourite. The beach is also lovely. I reckon this past 5 days on Koh mook have been the best 5 days I’ve ever spent in this wonderful country. Also Kae who works at the restaurant is the sweetest and funniest Thai person I’ve ever met! Always laughing, helpful and friendly. I’ll never forget her.

+ Big pool was great + Helpful staff, they did make us vegan and vegetarian food for breakfast and dinner when asked :) + Free taxi service + Aircon worked well, room was nice and there was mini fridge. Fridge was filled with two small water bottles every day🫶🏼

We stayed here for 5 wonderful nights, everything was just superb. Super friendly staff, family-owned business which core is providing very personal service. They help and advise when having any question. Definitely ask the staff for tips when planning day-trips on Koh Mook, nearby islands or airport transfers, they have very good recommendations and everything is possible! Koh Mook as an island is the perfect base to visit this area. Beautiful secluded beaches, hiking opportunities with good viewpoints and in comparison with Koh Kradan & Koh Ngai a lot of facilities. Resort itself is beautiful, very spacious, good location with a lot of nearby restaurants in walking distance on the east-coast, free callable taxi-service between 7am-7pm. Going here was the best decision we could have made, highly recommend!!
